From the day we break ground to the day you are able to move in typically falls between 8 and 12 months. The total project time depends on; project size, custom features, inspection schedule and weather.
At Haynes Homes, we want to build your dream house, not ours. We take pride in being one of the very few custom home builders who install the materials that you want and do not limit you to just 1 or 2 vendors. We will still make recommendations, but will never limit your vision.
Absolutely. We prefer to be part of the homesite buying process. We will be able to give you feedback on the estimated costs for land clearing, leveling, and foundation costs before you make your final land purchase.
Since we offer to build to the customer's specs, build costs will vary greatly. Based on current material costs, most builds will fall between $170 and $250 per square foot. Examples of materials that will change the price drastically are; vinyl windows vs clad windows, RTA cabinets vs custom cabinets, slab vs crawlspace vs basement foundations, garage size, bathroom materials, etc.
Yes, we will build your design on your land. You will be able to select your plan or work with an architect to design your dream home. We do not force our clients to pick from a handful of options. We prefer to be involved before the final rendering, so we can provide feedback, but it is not required.
We work with our clients to help identify the right plan that not only fits your lifestyle but will also fit on your lot.
